What the Early Christians Believed About the Two Kingdoms - Scroll Publishing

The average Christian today has never even heard of the doctrine called “the two kingdoms.” Yet, it is a fundamental doctrine of Christianity that concerns our relationship with the governments of this world. Without understanding the concept of the two kingdoms, we cannot really embrace apostolic Christianity. Bercot discusses the New Testament teaching on this subject and quotes heavily from the early Christians.

The Argument from Desire

The very fact children are born with an innate knowledge and desire for God and eternity, is evidence that those things exist.

Grace - The BibleProject

What does it mean to say that the God of the Bible is gracious? In this video, we’ll look at the Hebrew words for grace and understand it to be a rich concept that has profound implications for how we see God. When we look to the biblical meaning of grace and understand God as gracious, we see a God who loves to give generous gifts to undeserving people.

Modern Day Pharisees

But then again, why would anyone actually want to do something that might actually help the situation, regardless how small, when "virtue signaling" (publicly declaring one's own righteousness for all to see like the Pharisee in Luke 18:9-14) about it is so much easier and costs absolutely nothing!

If “Religious" People Have Ever Hurt You.. Watch This

So many have turned away from God, because of those who claim to represent God. We can learn a lot from the life of Jesus and how even He was mistreated by those claiming to be on God’s side.

Love is the Answer - Bible Class - Chip Brogden

An invitation to an online Bible Class from Chip Brogden:

As one continues exploring the deeper work of the cross, here are some concerns:
  1. The way some teach, interpret, and try to implement “denial of self” becomes a morbid celebration of death instead of a robust celebration of life.
  2. Self-denial as a spiritual discipline is unsustainable; it is like committing yourself to a strict diet that you cannot maintain, dropping some pounds only to gain it all back (and then some).
  3. The truth (especially the truth of the cross) should make us free, not frustrate us, or bring us into bondage and fear of failure.
  4. Most of all, despite all these teachings, people can’t put it into practice, so they put themselves under condemnation and guilt.
The way to resolve these concerns is not to dispense with the cross, but to understand that our relationship to the cross must be founded on LOVE not LEGALISM.
The key idea is:
"Not death to Self, but the transformation of Self, through perfection in love."
I'd like to continue exploring this in this week's online Bible study and show you how Love answers to all our concerns about spiritual growth, discipleship, Body Life, taking up the cross and overcoming sin, self, and satan.

In the world that we live in today, where it feels the walls are closing in on us and the wicked seem to be in more of a dominant position than us believers, sometimes we can lack having the faith and the trust that we should have, and we possess the actual opposite which is fear. Though many of us are strong in our belief and nothing can separate us from our belief in the Most High, that emotion of fear loves to try to make its way into our minds and hearts. I have a message for all believers. Do Not Fear. Put Your Trust in the Most High!

Francis Chan - The Obsession of the Devoted Worshipper

We all know what it looks like to be obsessed with a celebrity or athlete but what would it look like if we were all obsessed with Jesus Christ?

Is Jesus Enough? - Chip Brogden

“After they had eaten, Jesus asked Simon Peter,
‘Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me
more than these other things?'”
John 21:15

If Jesus was all you had, would Jesus be enough for you?

Many precious believers are in love with the things of the Lord, but they are not in love with the Lord Himself. Many Christian workers and ministers are in love with the Lord’s work. Almost without realizing it, the work of the Lord becomes more important than the Lord of the work.

There are prophets and teachers who hold words from God in higher esteem than the God Who speaks the words they attribute as being from Him. People seek these words and teachings. The more they receive, the more they want. Before one word is digested they are craving another. They are seeking “things” – words, prophecies, teachings, visions, dreams – but they are not seeking the Lord Himself.

Is Jesus enough?

When the saints gather together most of the activity is focused on “one another”. This is important, but it is not the most important thing. Fellowship is good: but is Jesus enough? Gatherings are good: but is Jesus enough? Meetings are good: but is Jesus enough? Special speakers and special music are good: but is Jesus enough?

Even with praise and worship, it is possible to sing “about” Jesus and not truly worship Jesus. With preaching and teaching it is possible to talk “about” Jesus and not truly meet Jesus in what is shared. In prayer, it is possible to talk “about” our needs and never actually commune with Jesus Himself.
Among Christians, I have discovered something. There is Jesus, and then there are all the things ABOUT Jesus that are NOT Jesus. Jesus Himself occupies only a small portion of what is said and done in Christian circles. Most of what is said and done is merely ABOUT Jesus, but it is NOT Jesus...

Prophetic Implications of Turkey's Invasion of Syria (TURKEY FULFILLING PROPHECY?) Underground #121

For one hundred years, the Kurdish people have endured betrayal, marginalization, and genocide. Divided in their own homeland across four nations, the Kurds have survived generations of war and upheaval in Iraq, Turkey, Syria and Iran. Besides Israel, the Kurds have also proven to be the most reliable, resourceful, and effective partners against radical Islam in the Middle East. Where they can govern themselves, the Kurds have consistently modeled principles of tolerance, equality, and moderation.

End Time Sins Are In The Church 2017 - Francis Chan

A time is coming to the church where "people will be lovers of self." Do you feel like this time has already come? The Bible says that in the end days we will become more and more evil, but how easy is that sin able to "creep" into the church. Be careful! It is already here, and more is coming!

In the previous 3 videos, Truthunedited discussed the organization of Jehovah’s Witnesses. This series of videos is in no way about an attack on individual Jehovah’s Witnesses personally, but only exposing deception. They want to end the topic surrounding Jehovah’s Witnesses with advice on how to witness to them as well as speak to any Witness that our Father is bringing out from the deception. The whole goal of these videos is to witness to those who truly love our Creator and want to serve Him and really serve Him and be a steward of His true Kingdom.

This video will emphasize the difference between the Biblical Jesus (Yahshua) and the Islamic Jesus. My goal is to clearly show the differences in the faith and give the church understanding and talking points that allow them to minister to Muslims if the chance is presented. This is in no way about offending Muslims.

Love Your Enemies

“Love your enemies, bless those who curse you,
do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully
use you and persecute you.”

The nature of the Kingdom of God is quite different, and its character reflects that difference. There is not a kingdom on the face of the earth that could ever adopt a philosophy that says “love your enemies.” If you accept the premise that Jesus really is a King then you are compelled to acknowledge that this King and His Kingdom are truly not of this world.

A national defense policy based on “Love Your Enemies” would be political and national suicide for any earthly government. This Heavenly Order is such a radical departure from the ways of the world that it requires some rather deep experiences with God before a person can really enter into the service of the King because that service is so unlike anything anyone has ever seen or experienced.
