your left hand know what your right hand is doing.”
Jesus did not advocate anonymous charity in order to make us paranoid or fearful of being caught doing a good deed. He did it to liberate us, to enlarge us, to help us experience the pure joy of a no-strings-attached gift, to ensure we would not become proud, and very importantly, to prevent others from rewarding, manipulating, regulating, or expecting us to give to them on a continual basis apart from His direction.
He understood how easily people, even with the best of intentions, make value judgments of others based on material possessions. He obviously didn’t want that to be the case among His people.

Very few know Jesus told a riddle in the Olivet Discourse. Fewer still that he didn't give the answer, but in this Nelson Walters video WE DO. The Riddle is part of one of his least well know parables, the Parable of the Wise and Foolish Servants. Maybe that's why so few know about this. But it instructs us on how to prepare for the last days and how NOT to prepare.

Are the letters to the 7 churches of Revelation simply history or are they prophecy? Are they epistles to churches existing during the 70th Week of Daniel? People ask, "If the Church enters the 70th Week, where are Jesus's instructions for that period?" The answer may be right in front of us. These letters from Jesus to the Church are His instructions on how to overcome this period. In this Nelson Walters YouTube video we show why they 7 letters CAN'T ONLY be historic and why they CAN'T be church ages, but rather are prophetic.

The word “compassionate” is the very first word God uses to describe himself to Moses on Mount Sinai. It might be surprising to learn that compassion is a deeply emotional word—one used to convey the strong bond between a parent and their child. God is portrayed as a compassionate parent throughout Scripture—both as a mother and a father. And he is shown to respond to the cries of his people not only with deep emotion but also with action. Ultimately, the compassion of Yahweh is embodied in the person of Jesus, who lives and dies to take humanity’s suffering upon himself and restore the bond between God and humanity. As followers of Jesus, we too are called to embody the compassion of Yahweh and extend his deep care to our community and world.
