How to Read the Bible: The Parables of Jesus

Jesus of Nazareth was a master storyteller, and many of his most well-known teachings were told as parables. But these stories were designed to do much more than simply "teach." Jesus said the parables were designed to both reveal and conceal his message about the arrival of God's Kingdom. In this video, we explore the main themes in Jesus' parables and ask why he used them as the primary vehicle for his message.

Social-ist in-Justice & The Gospel

American comedian George Carlin once quipped:

"When fascism comes to America, it won't be in brown shirts and jackboots, it'll come wearing smiley-faced T-shirts and Nike sneakers!"

For the record, I'm of the school that sees Fascism and it's evil twin Naziism as ideologies rooted in socialism. I like to call them "Socialist Lite!" To further play on the old beer commercial's slogan, "Fascism allows a third more rights than your traditional socialism (communism) but is just as totalitarian." For example, in economic terms, Fascism and Naziism do allow a few more individual rights than communism does. In communism, the state owns everything to include the shirt off your back.

On the other hand, Fascism does allow limited rights to private property and profit. Instead of killing the capitalist goose that lays the golden eggs the way communism does, they keep it under lock and key and feed it just enough so that it keeps on laying eggs. Whereas communism completely takes over the means of production, fascism merely takes complete control of key sectors of the economy and partners with the corporatists who they allow to own the rest. Lastly, for those who didn't know, the word "Nazi" is just a contraction of the party name which was the National "SOCIALIST" German Workers Party.

Both Hitler and Mussolini were proud to claim their socialist roots and the idea of top-down command and control is the foundation of the Fascist and Nazi principals. Today they don't call it fascist or Nazi. Totalitarian socialists of all stripes reserve those terms to be used as epithets they spit out at anyone who disagrees in hopes that nobody catches on that they're the real fascists and Nazi's. Today the foundational ideology (I prefer the term "idiot-ology") of all the various stripes of socialism to include: Communism, Fascism, Naziism, Democratic Socialism is known as "Postmodernism!" Like all of the various stripes of socialism previously mentioned, Postmodernism promises to build a heaven on earth in the here and now. But unlike Jesus who simply said, "Follow Me!" the postmodernist gospel adds an "Or else!" and brandishes a gun that they are all too willing to use if needs be. This is why I think it's more correct to label the Social Justice movement the "Social-ist in-Justice Movement!"

Why this is so important for the ekklesia to know is because the foundational principles guiding the whole Social Justice Gospel are rooted in postmodernism! They may sound like they're doing the Lord's work but because of the foundational idiot-ology behind it and their totalitarian roots, I seriously doubt it. It is IMHO, another gospel! I have linked below a link to the Sovereign Nations website and a specific webpage with their response to the Social-ist in-Justice Gospel movement. Regardless of what you may think of the website and some of the speakers linked in the videos when it comes to this particular topic, I would hope that you would overlook that issue and view them with an open mind. The matter is that serious!

In the world that we live in today, where it feels the walls are closing in on us and the wicked seem to be in more of a dominant position than us believers, sometimes we can lack having the faith and the trust that we should have, and we possess the actual opposite which is fear. Though many of us are strong in our belief and nothing can separate us from our belief in the Most High, that emotion of fear loves to try to make its way into our minds and hearts. I have a message for all believers. Do Not Fear. Put Your Trust in the Most High!
