HISTORY OF VALENTINE'S DAY: A PAGAN HOLIDAY

For most people today Valentine’s Day is just regarded as a commercial day of love. A date where people show their significant other that they love them, because someone else did so a long time ago and it just grew in acceptance over time. But it is much more than that. Valentine’s Day is a pagan holiday. This video will explain why.

HISTORY OF RELIGION (Part 47): THE FIRST MARTYR OF THE CHURCH

The gospel can bring persecution and challenges. The lives of the apostles are pure evidence of this. But from their challenges and persecution, the gospel was brought to those who need to hear it. From the all the events from the first 6 chapters of the book of Acts, we will now see how the power of the gospel was taken outside of Jerusalem

One With Him

“As the body is one and has many members,
but all the members of that one body, being many,
are one body, so also is Christ.”
-1 CORINTHIANS 12:12

The Bible says that there is an invisible but very powerful union that exists between Jesus and all His disciples; they are one Body. It is a spiritual union. This spiritual union forms the basis of our relationship and fellowship with Christ.

Jesus says, “I am the True Vine… Abide in Me, and I in you” (John 15:1,4). Jesus compares this union to a vine that has many branches. Each branch lives in union with the vine. The same life flowing in the vine is also flowing in the branches. Jesus says He is the True Vine, and we are His branches. This is spiritual union. As branches, we can only grow and produce spiritual fruit so long as we continue to live, dwell in, abide, and be part of the Vine. So then, union with God is not the reward for spirituality; it is the basis of spirituality.

Frank Viola & George Barna on Radical Church Restoration

PAGAN CHRISTIANITY by Frank Viola and George Barna started it all. According to the host of this challenging interview, it is "one of the most provocative hours you've ever heard in Christian talk radio." Some are now writing about going back to the New Testament letters to the church for church practice, but PAGAN CHRISTIANITY by Frank Viola and George Barna pioneered the way, along with the constructive sequel REIMAGINING CHURCH. These books are still causing a revolution in the body of Christ today.

Submission to Elohim means you have entered into a conflict with satan. You will come against trials and temptations that seek to get you off the narrow path. This video will speak about those things and help you have the right expectations of what you will face as a believer in Yahshua.

He Chose You

“You did not choose Me, but I chose you.”
JOHN 15:16

It is not so much our seeking the Truth as the Truth drawing us to Himself. That drawing us to Himself is interpreted by our soul as spiritual hunger. Without this we cannot come to Truth.

Christ has come to seek and to save the Lost. He tells His disciples that they have not chosen Him, but He has chosen them. The ones who seek Him discover that they are sought out by Him. The paradox of the situation is that the Lord will only reveal Himself to those who seek Him, but when they begin to seek Him, He searches for them in order to make Himself known.

My Way, God's Way

“Not My will, but Yours, be done.”
LUKE 22:42

What does it cost to become a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ? What does one have to give up? There is truly only one thing that must be given up. It is not, and it never has been, a question of giving up friends, family, material possessions, fame and fortune. You can give up all those things, just like the first disciples of the Lord, and still run away and deny Him.
Forget the outward things and go right to the heart of the matter. Only one thing is necessary, and if we give up this one thing we are qualified to be disciples of the Lord. What is the one thing? All we have to give up is OUR WAY.

There are two ways, one which seems right, and one which IS right. One is my way, the other is His way.

Amazing Grace, by Wintley Phipps

At Carnegie Hall, gospel singer Wintley Phipps delivers perhaps the most powerful rendition of Amazing Grace ever recorded. He says, "A lot of people don't realize that just about all Negro spirituals are written on the black notes of the piano. Probably the most famous on this slave scale was written by John Newton, who used to be the captain of a slave ship, and many believe he heard this melody that sounds very much like a West African sorrow chant. And it has a haunting, haunting plaintive quality to it that reaches past your arrogance, past your pride, and it speaks to that part of you that's in bondage. And we feel it. We feel it. It's just one of the most amazing melodies in all of human history." After sharing the noteworthy history of the song, Mr. Phipps delivers a stirring performance that brings the audience to its feet!
